"Hear that lonesome whipporwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

I've never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by
The moon just went behind a cloud
To hang its head and cry.

Did you ever see a robin weep
When leaves begin to die
That means he's lost the will to live
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry."

Nobody wrote them like Hank Williams

And that's country.

Ann,

Good morning--hope you slept well and your breakfast was suitable. You live in a wonderful place.

Dick and E.Don,

That is where I went wrong--I grew till about 12 and stopped at 5' 10.

Weighed 120 pounds. I had to drink ink to cast a shadow.

People underestimate my weight.

Last summer it was a real problem.

I had to be alert to every nurse and size up their ability .

I much prefer a male nurse. They are stronger.

Alice, I did sleep well, and woke to find a link to some recent videos of Jaycie at three months. Her beautiful smile has more than made my day, no matter what comes up, even if it involves defending myself on other threads here.

E. Don,

And didn't Hank drink himself to death before he hit forty?

Lecture #3 Misunderstandings

On message boards they are bound to occur.
People are different--Thank heavens--no two of us alike.
We are all #1 of a limited edition.

We all want to be cherished and appreciated.

Some people on a message board are heavily burdened and
challenged. Some will dislose it, some will not.

We have no clue really about each other.

If someone calls you a nasty name, maybe they had a drink , maybe they got bad news about their health or lack of it. Maybe they have no money. `

If you did nothing to provoke it--let it pass. If someone calls you a fool and you retaliate by acting like a fool--you have merely proved them right.
I am very good at proving folks right that call me a name.
That is why Lane called me Malice.

Marie,

I will trade you.

My mother liked to tease me, she would say," When you marry it will be to a short, bald-headed man who will walk about under your arm."

Dave s 2 inches taller and has a full head of hair.

Lecture #4 Banishment from messageboards.

Being banned from a message board is a badge of honor. It is a thing to be proud of rather than ashamed of.

I will name no board names. The first board I was on had two bullies. I guess it takes one to know one.

I tangled with them and was locked out . I was reinstated, but declined my reinstatement.

I went to another message board and was reinstated on the first one. I was on two for awhile and eventually left the second one permanantly.

I met Lane, he did not like the bullies and we together knocked out one of their long-everlasting threads.

In the process, one of the bullies make a very inappropriate remark to Lane.

Lane called him a Pig. It was a highly appropriate name, but we were both locked out.

We went to another messageboard. I demanded to be thrown off
and was.

I love it here. My son-in law is from the UK and I love British humor. I like Shelagh's humor. I like Shelagh.

My church membership is in England. I love British preachers .
They are very articulate

Will I be kicked out of the group if I admit that, when I used to lurk on the PAMB, I found P.'s posts charming, and enjoyed JE's, too?

Don, I don't care whatr highbrows say who quote Sheakespeare and other great writers, I don't believe more poignant, beautiful words were ever written than those you quoted by Hank Williams. I never tire if listening to them or reading them.
