I think your getting too raw with
your language and I take offense when you
say Shelagh is playing with herself, this remark

Am pretty sure LC was referring to the gal who's started the litigation (notice the sentence that came right after that). She was talking TO Shelagh, not about her.

I just don't like the way she talks down to
people here ! if this continues I'll just have
to quit the site, We are suppose to be one big
family. no matter how we got published, but she
thinks we are beneath her, sorry , she's wrong !
We are just as good or maybe better than she, so

Joe, I know what you're talking about and I get into with LC a bit myself. But there have been worse around and it didn't drive you out.
And she is not somebody who's undermining the site or dissing Shelagh.
I really hope decide to stick around and do your own thing. You don't walk out on family because somebody pisses you off.

I can fight her with one hand tied behind my back, she has a large ego and she gets off belittling others, but I
know better, she's a sad, sad,sad , soul... I have no intention of leaving, she will leave before I do..

Unfortunately, nothing worth copying is taken from the forum. We have healthy disputes here that keep the forum vibrant and alive. The blogger is jumping on the bandwagon and stealing the controversial posts that attract attention.

Joe, LC is hard to take at times but she has to face rejection like the rest of us. She deals with editors who demand changes to grammar, structure and form to the point of driving authors mad. Seeing badly written work on authors' self-published websites can be irritating when you have just spent months and months dealing with a pedantic editor.

When reading posts, try to accept that we all have other things going on in our lives at the time we make these posts. My cousin is still in hospital after having one of her legs removed. A blood clot behind her knee could not be broken up and no blood was reaching her foot, which became gangrenous. After the operation, she said she didn't miss the leg because she had been in so much pain. My family are all heartbroken. Sometimes, it's hard to come here and listen to silly arguments and complaints about posts.

So sorry to hear about your cousin, Shelagh. I will hope she will make a fast recovery.

That is sad to hear, Shelagh. Being cranky at times is not always understood. I think we can read that in many posts when someone is having a bad day. A very bad day is losing a leg.

Thanks Abdul and Abe. My cousin is not very well but she's a fighter. She is up and has already mastered walking up stairs with the aid of crutches. Her husband has been busy setting up a ramp for a wheelchair at home and has installed a downstairs toilet. Their lives have been turned upside down and now they have to adapt to the new situation.

Before she became ill. she had been daily feeding the robins close to her home. I am looking for a painting of robins that I can buy online. If anyone knows of a beautiful painting of robins, please let me know.
