Still a bit under the weather Alice. This bug is a real strength sapper. The cold weather doesn't help either. Thank you for your kind concern. |

| My last message to my friend about her great-grandson seemed out of place and it was difficult to get my messages written correctly, so my husband is trying to be helpful and take over.
He is getting tips on foods and is off to the grocery store once again but brandy is off his list, but at least for the moment and blue berry baby food is added to the list.
However, prayers are working well and I appreciate any ideas.
My husband is a dear, dear person learning new places in the grocery store, and my leg is not hurting as before.
Thank you, thank you for all the prayers.
Love, Carol |

| I'm not sure I got my messages on the right thread, but I have tried.
Thanks to everyone and blessings to anyone else who might be feeling ill.
May God watch down on all of you.
I loved your card Joe. I love all your kind words.
Love, Carol |

| Dear Carol, What is the blue berry baby food for? I get a nice vision of a blue tongue. When my children were little, I fed them the liver baby food because Dr. Spock said it was good for them. They did not like it at all, pooped little grey, dismal poops just to let me know it was indigestable. They did not mind the green beans, the spinach or the squash, but there were no smiles while eating that. They loved the apricots, the peaches, the banana pudding, (what a smile that made). They hated carrots, and got a little yellow around the mouth for days. Blueberry was not available. What crap we fed our babies. Rice papblum...how insipid can food be? Breast milk must have been a real treat! Mashed potatoes and gravy was GROWN-UP food. People wonder why children have eating disorders. It is my fault. I take the blame. I did not know children were people. Love, Betty |

| Betty,
You were a good mother to your little ones. We did what we thought we were supposed to do. The "supposed to's" keep changing. The experts when mine were little said we should never allow our children to sleep on their backs. Now it's their tummies.
The never-do's always flip-flop.
Carol,
It is so good to hear from you. You are coping with a b**ch of a disease, but are clearly determined to get through it. That determination will see you through.

| Dear Carol, I would gladly come up there and spread that liver goop on a cracker for you. You know, if I put a little pureed peas in there with that, you might be able to walk on water. Ann and I could come up there and spread that stuff on any part that hurts and let you sleep on your tummy the first half of the night. That last half, you would have to listen to Elvis singing Dixie. Love, Betty |

| Carol, your post means we get a visual of you. My feelings are as expressed by others in the above posts. I can visualize Tom doing the shopping. Does he entertain you with the harmonica? |

| If you're following Carol's CaringBridge blogs, you know she's had a couple of really bad days. Maybe we can all come up with stuff to cheer her up.
Carol, we love you, and know that you have more strength than you are probably aware of right now. You will come through this.

| Thanks for you thoughts. The last few days have not been good, and having a few problems, but today I have a doctor's appointment.
Tom is getting the cast off his hand today. He will be glad to get that off.
