| 1/26/2012 I saw this on a show called " The Will," ID Channel, looked it up and it's true, Actor Jackie Cooper put this in his will so his two children won't challenge his will, his wife died a year before him. Poison Pill Clause " If anyone tries to contest this will I give such persons so contesting or objecting the sum of five dollars ( $5.00) I have to re-do my will... Cheers...Joe...

| Maybe it is wiser to simply not leave anything behind for them to fight over. It's true that you can't take it with you; why not enjoy it before you go. My children are all in their forties and doing better than I am. I did my job. Now it's my turn. (There really needs to be a tongue-in-cheek emoticon. People have been taking me too serious lately .) | Ann,
This is such a festive topic! I have a cremation plan--no pushing daisies for me. No services. I will see everyone in heaven who wants to be there. Money will be left to our kids. |

| I got those miniature hearing aids you can't see. My kids don't know I can hear them talking about me. I've changed my will three times. |

Ann I agree. From my observations, money given (not earned) is cause for family disaster. Giving what you wish to give while alive can solve the problem. What is given can be taken away. What one has earned, no one else has a right to. Making a will is important. Using it to get even is not a good idea. Using it to prevent conflict and being fair with distribution is good. However, since we can't take it with us, why not use it for our enjoyment? We worked for what we have and deserve to use it. Furthermore, if there's nothing to fight over, we have succeeded. |

I am with you on this. I am an organ donor. Once the harvest team is done with the pick n pull I want my remains cremated. There really isn't much that I have that anyone in my family wants. I know my family and they'd all be too busy bawling their eyes out to fight over my book collection or costume jewelry. I am lucky to have a family that values relationships over money. |

I trust my son too. He's in his late 20s, but he's had a will since his first deployment 4 years ago. It is sort of a weird feeling to know what is written in my own child's will. It is also sort of strange to know that between his job and the military he has more life insurance than I do. |

| Jo Elle, I am an organ donor also. No offense, but I want you gone long before your son. |
