| Dear Alice,
Tonight, David and I were discussing our life insurance. That lead to our preferred method of body disposal. He wants me to build a pine box for his carcass. I can do that, it will not be pretty and may not have hinges.
I told him I preferred taxidermy. Have me stuffed and mounted like a hood ornament, put me on the hood of his tractor and then he can remember me every time he plows a furrow. He said no. I said, If he were taxidermally done, I could put him out by the front gate, armed to the teeth, in his old Marine Corp jacket and have him fire a few shots (blanks of course) every hour. Animation would come later, after collecting his insurance. He was not amused.
I said I would salute every time I came in the gate.
Still, no.
No sense of humor.
Love, Betty |

| Remember where the word 'politics' comes from? Poly = Many Tics = Annoying biting disease carring bugs Politics = Many annoying disease carring bugs |

I believe we should have a parlimentary sytem and have the Queen as head of state. " Hail Britannia." I've always loved the English...
Cheers..Joe |

| Betty, your plan for taxidermy gave me my morning laugh. The concept, but using a decorated dummy as guard, could be more effective than other security devices. |
