| Carol, It was huge because it was not a sample. I don't even know why I take those tiny bars of soap--I love gigantic bars of soap from Harrod's. I better order some now. |

| My husband has been retired so long we now have regular sized bars of soap.

| Carol, that story about the "huge" soap made me laugh. Funny what gets taken for granted. My kids looked at a rotary phone once and asked how to work it.
We've got lots of those soap samples here, too, I probably would think a regular one looked huge now, too. |

| I don't like hotel soap. It has too much perfume and dries out my skin. I always take soap with me. Problem is, I always forget it when I leave. Shampoo too ... and conditioner. |

| Ann,
She can do anything. It's her forum.
But she better not, or I'll complain.
I love hijacking threads. This is so much fun. It is one of the few nasty things I can do right now!!!

| I suppose soap and vanity go together -- Dallas, for instance, and Dynasty. Does that put me back on topic? |

| Don't leave out General Hospital. My daughters got me hooked while they were in high school. Now I still watch it and they think I'm weird.

| Okay, if you wish to hear it. Otherwise just ignore this post. I got up at the ungodly hour of 5:00 am and got to Madison. The MRI looked friendly and not a sewer tube. It was wide and my head only went in part way and I could see out the other side which was nice when the sun came out. It lasted an hour and I listened to Christmas Carols through the pounding, and the last Carol was Silent Night. The anxiety meds did the trick and I gave now sufficiently thanked everyone for going out of their way for me.
I will know the results on Wednesday if not before.
No one has given up on me.

| Hi Soaps lost all credibility with me when a 'long lost' brother of oil rich JR Ewing turned up as a waiter in a motel....I haven't watched a soap since then..... |

| Oh man, I LOVED Dallas and Dynasty back in the day. Loved seeing what they wore, the sets, the over-the-top dialogue and plots. Didn't bother me that Bobby was killed in a car wreck and re-appeared in the shower a few years later. Welcome back! lol |

| 12/5/2009 Joan Collins. What a doll, I'm drooling... I remember she did a film in the 1950's with Jack Hawkins who was a the king of Egypt, she marries him as a 2nd wife, she kills his wife then his child, then she has him killed . In the end she enters the tomb with the funeral procession, all of a sudden the high priests brake bottles with sand coming out of them , the tomb slowly closes, she's trapped with her dead husband and the high priests, it's her punishments along with all the gold and jewels, I forgot the name of the film. Joan Collins is a doll after my heart, a real bitch ! Love it.. Cheers..Joe... |
