The above article is about a local author, a member of my same Naples Press Club, published by a vanity press whose movie from her book can be seen August 24, 2013.

It was her first novel.

Fantastic. One never knows who will read our books and find them of special interest. That's when luck plays a role. Rags to Riches is often a lottery thing.

When you know the person, the book, the publicist and the publisher it feels so close - and so far.

I approached the publicist but she was too high in the clouds to consider another book.
