“Clear and Present Danger”. This title was used for a book by Tom Clancy and then a film starring Harrison Ford, and is appropriate for what I have to say.
Do you remember the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq? Fabrication of information to justify the invasion was not challenged by congress. Citizens were ignorant of the facts. We are now in a situation where another invasion may be in process.
Boehner committed a felony; some call it treason, when he invited Netanyahu to address congress for the purpose of interfering with our government’s negotiations with Iran. *(see below) Boehner is now in the process of visiting Israel for discussions with Netanyahu. It appears clear, based on past comments by Netanyahu that he wants war with Iran and has been interfering with America’s efforts to reach a peaceful solution. Is it possible that Boehner and Netanyahu are collaborating to come up with a scheme for war with Iran? Israel doesn’t want Iran to have nuclear capability while at the same time Israel has its own undeclared nuclear arsenal. Past comments from Iran indicate that they feel the need to have the same capability to offset the threat posed by Israel. Our President is in important negotiations with Iran to prevent nuclear proliferation. Israel along with Boehner and associates are trying to impede these negotiations. Action is needed to sanction those in our government that support a foreign government against our own. Support of our President in his efforts for peace is urgently needed. It is time to speak out against treason and the war-mongering members of congress. Hindsight won’t change anything. If the rule of law is applied, those who committed acts against our government must be brought to justice and removed from office. We can’t wait until the next round of voting. We have a voice and our voices must be heard with all avenues at our disposal.
Imagine what can happen if Israel starts a war with Iran. Does anyone think that Russia or China will simply stand by and do nothing? Pakistan, a Moslem country, has the bomb. Do you think they would not act on Iran’s behalf?
We are living in a very dangerous time. The danger is clear and present. We cannot afford to be drawn into a war, especially by a country we support. Where Israel is concerned, the American people would feel the need to come to their rescue thus involving us in an unwanted war. The war hawks don’t appear to consider the ramifications of their actions.

I ask you to do whatever you can to prevent another war. Don’t take my word for it, dig for information and get the facts. Our voices can help save us from disaster.
