I am off to bed.  To be able to say that means a lot.  To consider the events and thoughts of your day is really an exceptional thing to be able to do. I loved Annie's mind, her perception of this thing we call life.  We shared a lot of serious thought and a lot of joyous thought.
In my little life, I have read many of the works that influenced our Annie.  O I am not sure that I understood all that she could.  Annie was a genius.  But I hope she is there with Jung,  I hope it with all of me.  For her family, I hope they know her spirit.  Her spirit has changed the world.  Love, Betty

Thank you for giving me the release at last of heartfelt grief and tears.  Who can understand but those of us who have found friends in a virtual universe that I once felt was nothings but black figures on a page.  I learned to know differently.  Sometimes, the heart can more richly be felt when it is free to express in this way.  I am richer because I knew Ann, and poorer because every post was with anticipation of her wisdom at some point... perhaps in her passing she will inspire all of us to think about all the optimism she attempted to put into her words and thoughts - and her beautiful stories.

I have thought about the Enchanted Rock and her time travels in her work.  Perhaps she is there now, in that underground she wrote about so beautifully.  I was cleaning out a file today and came across a slip of paper with her name and address.  She had sent it to me for me to send her some grove pepper sauce..long ago...which I never got around to doing for one reason or another.  I always meant to send it...
