Move Everything To KDP Select & Free Promo Review

I have moved all of my Kindle books to Amazon Select and think I did the right thing based upon recent sales trends. I put another book on the 5 day free promo - Unemployed But Not Destroyed and got a good review to counter a bad one just based on the free sample that had nothing to do with the book.

I gave this book a look while it was on the free list (today, anyway)
and as I generally consult the reviews I did so here as usual. The only
other review at this time is a nasty review of the sample and has
nothing to do with the book. It bugged me, so since it was free, I got
it and gave the book a quick run through. I found it to be a basic look
at some of the issues a newly unemployed person, especially one who has
been in a long term employment situation, may be facing. Many things
have changed in the last 10, 15, 20 years, and this book will give you
an idea about issues that someone who hasn't been in the job hunt arena
recently may not think about. I cannot speak to it's value vs. price,
as I'm not unemployed and I didn't pay for it anyway, but I wanted to
give another view based on an actual look at the book.

I downloaded the sample to read before buying the book and after the
cover and introductory pages with the publishing information and all,
there was just one page of text in the sample. Definitely not enough
material for me to make up my mind. If the sample is only 1 written
page of text, who knows how little is in the entire book. I am not
wasting any money on buying this, even if it costs only $3.99!

I, too, have now moved all eight of my Kindle books to KDP Select. We'll see how it goes. I haven't tried the Free Promo Review yet.
