This is a sign of things to come folks because it is no longer a land of the free.

There is positive change going on at the same time, though. For one thing, there are those who are allowing themselves to be arrested, and the papers are reporting it.

Civil disobedience has been around at least as long as Thoreau, but how often has it been put to use?

Yes, the world is changing. More people care about the homeless; more people are becoming aware of inequities that have been there all along; more people are willing to speak out.

This nation, and the rest of the world are waking up and finding peaceful ways to demonstrate the need for change, and every day, someone else moves a little closer to the point where the paradigm will shift, and the new will be the norm.

This is a good time to be here - and here is everywhere.
