Why a woman? Chelsea is married and might have children. She should enjoy her grandchildren. Politics is s demanding job.
Why would she bother at her age?

George Lakoff says we have two major metaphors that we use to represent our two major parties: Strict Father Republicans and Nurturing Parent Democrats. It's interesting that the "nurturing parent" can be either male or female, which goes along with their gender equality message of that party. It does seem time for a woman president, but I think that could wait another four years. I would prefer to see Obama re-elicted this time around. We can focus on finding the right woman during his second term.

she's retiring this year, I think she's getting ready for

We'll at least I'm honest, no political ties, no
ties to big money and the ones who stuff your pockets
with moeny and I have " No Money." I remember seeing
a movie once with Patricia Neal and Andy Griffith, he was
a drunk and a bum and became somebody, that blew me
out of the water. I guess I have to start getting money to
fill my campaign chest...If Obama can do it, so can I !

There was a seafood restaurant in Pt Arthur called Al's. We would drive over there with the kids very Friday evening. the people who ran the place started saving back a couple of steaks for us - it was their most popular item. They cut them about 2 inches thick, dipped them in a little flour and paprika and broiled them in butter. The bones would be about 5 inches long and a quarter-inch thick.
