That started with 9/11 and the Iraq war. Add to that the $billions to Pakistan for assistance with the war (intelligence monitoring). And to correct this whack on our economy on the backs of the poor, the children, the elderly and others without the ability to speak on their own behalf is a travesty.

It's amazing to listen to all the commentary following the military success against Bin Laden.

Pakistan assisted with the war? Whose side? Not ours, apparently.

Every country in the middle east has it's hands out for
billions of dollars from us, their phonies and they would
stab us in the back as quick as smile at us and our country
plays this stupid dangerous game year after year, I think it's
time we put a stop to giving money away and propping up
Govt.'s around the world...

Cheers..Joe

We are responsible. Placing blame elsewhere won't change anything. Things will change when we change. Trying to look good while sinking?

This country went to war with Iraq following 911. The terrorist groups gained momentum from that point forward. The Western world was not prepared for that type o f warfare and learned as things progressed. It was a very expensive lesson. I'll never forget President Bush's victory speech on the ship...funny how so many forget how wrong he was. They remembered long enough to elect President Obama and promptly forgot.
