What's even more amazing to me is the mindless sheep attitude that these jihadists have. Haven't any of them ever asked, hey, if the afterlife is so good with these 40 virgins and all, why aren't the ones telling me to go, jumping to go themselves?

On the other hand, some of them enrolled in classes to learn how to land jets, but not take off. And it worked.
So maybe they aren't the only stupid ones.

They took over airliners with box cutters and got into the cockpits. Would you let a guy take over a jet with a box-cutter? I wouldn't. Would you let them in the cockpit? How stupid is THAT?

The 9/ll guys weren't stupid. Although one could argue the long-term planning wisdom of letting your only smart operatives kill themselves.

Yes, our own security system was pretty poor that they could board with boxcutters. Looking at what mans most screening areas, though, I'm not completely surprised.

The stupid thing isn't letting a box knife get on a plane. It's allowing a guy to take over a plane armed with a box knife.

They have their whole priorities of security reversed.
They take out lockers in transportation terminals, but don't fortify cockpits. Same with immigration, everything. They try to throw out the biggest net that affects the most people, instead of defending the most siginificant points strongest.

Considering how out of shape and wimpy Americans currently are, why wouldn't five fit guys with box knives be able to take over a (lightly filled) plane? Re the cockpits, it's my understanding that they're locked and fortified now (I know, hindsight is always 20/20).

I wouldn't let some asshole with a box cutter kill me.

My guess is, there was no resistance
