| Last month, February, had the lowest number of posts since the forum was set up (even with the extra visitors for the reunion). This month, the post count is 2.5 times February's post count and is the highest since last June (2009).
If you hop around the site, you will see no difference to the forum compared to anytime in the past. Everyone on the Chatter Box has full access to the forum. Visitors to the forum see it slightly differently compared to the past. This does not affect the posting on the forum or the interaction of the members.
If you respond to the false members on the public boards, those posts will appear on the blog. It's up to you to ignore these threads -- I've been told that I am responsible for keeping the blog going, but it isn't me who is responding at the moment.
DK asked for the blog address, so you can expect one to appear on the forum sometime after midnight GMT. I will remove it tomorrow morning. |

| When the posting dropped last month, I decided to add Google Analytics to the site. Throughout March, the site received 112,628 page views from 1,352 unique visitors who made 6,957 visits to the site. I'm not sure if the interest is greater with the Chatter Box closed than it would be if I opened it up. We'll see how things go next month. |

| On my daily Google Alerts, I often find a my name referenced to this site.
As you often pointed out, what one says on a public forum becomes public. |

| Nothing like conflict to drive a story.
Did you send a thank you card to the trolls? |

| I certainly did. I don't know if they received it though. My spies haven't told me. |

| Maybe they didn't get it. You know they don't live under the bridge any more, right? |

| Just so you all know about trolls who live under bridges. A fairy tale from Norway.
THERE WERE THREE BILLY-GOATS who were to go up to the hill-side to make themselves fat, and the name of all three was "Gruff."
On the way up was a bridge over a burn they had to cross; and under the bridge lived a great ugly troll with eyes as big as saucers and a nose as long as a poker.
So first of all came the youngest billy goat Gruff to cross the bridge.
"Trip, trap! trip, trap!" said the bridge.
"Who is that, tripping over my bridge?" roared the troll.
"Oh, it is only I, the tiniest billy goat Gruff; and I'm going up to the hill-side to make myself fat," said the billy goat, with such a small voice.
"Now I'm coming to eat you," said the troll.
"Oh, no! Don't take me. I'm too little," said the billy goat; "wait a bit till the second billy goat Gruff comes, he's much bigger."
"Very well, then, be off with you," said the troll.
A little while after came the second billy goat Gruff to cross the bridge.
Trip, trap! trip, trap! trip, trap!" went the bridge.
"Who's that tripping over my bridge?" roared the troll.
"Oh, it's the second billy goat Gruff, and I'm going up to the hill-side to make myself fat," said the billy goat, who hadn't such a small voice.
"Now I'm coming to get you," said the troll.
"Oh, no! Don't take me, wait a little till the big billy goat Gruff comes. He's much bigger."
"Very well! be off with you," said the troll.
Now came the big billy goat Gruff.
"Trip, trap! trip, trap! trip, trap!" went the bridge, for the billy goat was so heavy that the bridge creaked and groaned under him.
"WHO'S THAT tramping over my bridge?" roared the troll.
"It's I, the big billy goat Gruff," said the billy goat, who had a bossy, hoarse voice of his own.
"Now I'm coming to get you," thundered the river troll.
"Well, come on if you can! I've got two spears, They'll poke your eyeballs out at your ears; My two curling-stones, shall crush your bones." Maybe that was what the big billy goat said. He flew at the troll, and poked his eyes out with his horns, and crushed him to bits, body and bones, and tossed him out into the burn, and after that he went up to the hill-side. There the billy goats got so fat they were hardly able to walk home again; and if the fat hasn't fallen off them, why, they're still fat; and so -
"Snip, snap, This tale's over."
Love, Betty |
