So many years ago when the earth was born in fire
The sun anew cast its glow upon the sky
Then strange things there came to be in oceans mighty and deep
Many eons on mankind came to rule the world
With his towered cities and the glow he brought upon the darkness
But only for a fleeting moment
Many eons passed
Mountains came and went
Oceans rose and fell
And the cities turned to dust upon the wind
The sun has turned bright red as its end draws near
Would anyone remember now that time so long ago?
The fleeting moment when we ruled the world
