Gordon -wasn't that the tree in A Charlie Brown Christmas? Smile

Here's my tree for right now. A Target special, $19.99, sits nicely on the kitchen table. Will take pix of the other one later.

LC,

You have to be English--yellow walls? Dead give away!

Your windows are telling also.

Dear Alice,
What a marvel your Dave must be at wood. A person connects with wood, feels it. I love all the drawers.

Your home must be beautiful, as you are.

I thought of you this day as I perused the Kincaid puzzles. I love puzzles. They simplify the mental processes to shapes and curves and colors. The aboriginal brain. That is what I have. Basic mental.

I went off today to look for presents. I was out for 6 hours and bought 3 presents that I would like to get my own self. One I did buy for my own self. I love small, small perfume bottles. I bought one for 5.00.
Love,
Betty

Joe,

Thank you for liking it.
I will never sell it. It is my prize possession.

Betty,

Good going! I am glad about the perfume bottle.
The table doesn't have drawers.
Those "knobs" are screw covers.
Hope you still like it.

Great photos, everyone! This is shaping up to be our Decorations thread. Smile

Alice, my late FIL did woodworking, too, we have a desk and some small things made by him. Good, solid stuff. There's a large woodworking shed in my IL's yard, stocked with expensive equipment. He hardly used it, but he liked to buy and look at it. And drink beer in it with a neighbor, lol.

OK. wasn't going to put this sucker up until tomorrow, but all of your trees are so festive and pretty. Here is the pre-lit tree, out of the box and standing. We will trim it Sunday night, and I will take more pictures then.

Here's a closeup of my tree. I've been collecting ornaments for over 20 years. Every vacation we go on, we look for an ornament. I have wood ones from Germany, Radko, Lenox, Waterford, Hallmark Light & Motion, trinkets from St. Thomas, Disney, Cancun, Rome, Arizona, Hawaii...

I love all the trees!!!

We now have three decorations: the basket for Christmas cards, the Advent calendar where each day a new toy is velcroed to the tree on it, and a wreath my grandson gave me last year with two little snowman dressed in Green Bay Packer shirts and hats.

I just noticed a nutcracker has also appeared in the hallway. I think it is Santa's elves seeing the need for some decorating around here.
