| How much cheese you can eat depends on what the cow ate:

| I do see lots of cows in pastures in rural Wisconsin, and they do look happier than those confined do. But whether their milk makes it to Wisconsin cheese or not is something I'll have to look into.

| Zada, It worked! I don't know about some strange messages like that. Perhaps it is someone trying to foil the perfect crime! Carol |

| Perhaps a ghost on the thread didn't want me to talk about my cow! |

| We live next door to a dairy research center. (We had to sign a paper for the developer that we realized we would experience "country air" from time to time.) Sometimes the cows are in the pasture and sometimes not. I'll have to look into what they are researching.

| Nutter, did you mean 'udderly' ridiculous? I have a feeling our cow would not like being milked at all. She doesn't seem to like being touched in any way unless it's by a bull or calf! |

| When I hear talk about cheese, it always reminds me of an incident years ago in Pennsylvania. We stopped by a store on the way home to get something for sandwiches. My wife asked the young man behind the counter if the cheese was domestic or imported. He thought for a moment and then said, "I don't know Maaam, all I know is, it comes from Wisconsin." |
