An article in the health food section of a pharmacy magazine said:  “Scientists from the academy of medicine in China say that if you eat spicy Chili twice a week there is a 10% chance that you won’t die in the next seven years.  WTF.

Alice, it was so weird that I re-read it and may have given the wrong translation.  They were actually promoting the benefits of "spicy" foods and named Chili in the example.  What they may have meant to say was that by eating spicy foods twice a week there is a 10% chance that you can add seven years to your life.  On the other hand, the first take may have been correct and prediction is nuts.
