May the New Year be the best yet

Funny how we put so much emphasis on the New Year when every day is a new start to a new way of living and thinking.  In fact, we don't even need to wait for a new day, we can start this minute.

I am always amazed when I take the time to examine the control of my life through my thinking patterns.  All I have to do to change those things I wish to have different is to change how I view them.  While I can't change many things, I can change my own perspective.

Therefore, my New Year's resolution is to remember that each day starts a blank slate of possibilities in the way I choose to see life and those things that are beyond my control. 

What is your plan for the New Year?  I wish for my colleagues here the best year yet and more. dk

I like your plan, DK.

Mine is similar in general. First step is to work harder at accepting my current circumstances and refocus on writing.

This is probably impossible for me to keep, but I will make tremendous effort to not check daily my Amazon KDP sales (that plod along and could be checked monthly!).

I like both your ideas.  I did let go of the KDP sales in favor of just watching my bank account for the small payments - and they are small but regular.
