The Age Of Living Is Upon Us


Goodbye to the era of me

Welcome to the age of we

Place the money changers in our rearview

Welcome our promise to renew

Leave behind the wants we need

Realize it was just misplaced greed

Even as we peer into the abyss

Recall the true reasons we exist

Life and love is why we breathe

Not for gain of silver and gold from those that are deceived

Tomorrow let us once again truly see

Beautifully stated, DT. Let's hope we can all wrap ourselves around the idea that we're all in this together. The new year is our chance to change what didn't work in the past and start again with compassion and love to aid our fellow man whenever and in whatever way that we can.

DT, beautiful poem with lots of truth.

However, in 2008 I received a great deal of caring that kept me going in an awful year. It is probably why the beginning of this one is so good, just to be alive, to be able to walk, to have hope.
