NSA and the media.

We’ve heard much about potential attacks by Al Qaeda in the news creating a fear frenzy. On one hand, I think warnings are helpful, however not when frenzy is created by the media. It gives Al Qaeda the notoriety they seek. This group of terrorists have become the tail wagging the dog. If the NSA knows of a potential threat to our embassies, why not just alert the embassies and take precautions? Why inform the world and give Al Qaeda the publicity they seek? The word, “Al Qaeda” for many is associated with fear and their reputation is strengthened by the media. JMO
