After helping Alice get her book onto Kindle and epub, I decided to document the procedures I use to go from a word processor manuscript to an efficient and compliant ebook file ready to upload.

I wrote the procedures in the form of a tutorial and posted it on my blog as a service to other authors who wish to self-publish. Here's the link to the tutorial:
