What about them?

Do you do them or not?

Maybe you are already perfect.

Just curious, as usual.

Good--What are they?

I thought you were perfect.

I AM NEVER WRONG!

Now, if I told everyone I wasn't perfect, they'd have to agree with me -- and we all know they wouldn't want to do that!

One of my New Year's resolutions is to spend less time on the computer. I might actually keep this one. Twelve days ago, I deleted the Published Authors Network (10,200+ members) on LinkedIn. I don't miss that one bit!

I sent my brother a birthday card just before Christmas. Inside, it said that I thought he was the best brother in the world. Beneath the message, I wrote: "I have been known to be wrong."

Funnily enough, my brother suddenly agrees with me that I'm never wrong! Very Happy

I'll go with my muse on this one:

“I don’t think I’ve ever made a New Year’s resolution in my life. I make resolutions when I need to make them on any given day. I don’t wait for a year to go by.” Russell Crowe

That's funny! Did you give notice to the group that you were going to do that, or did they just find out when they couldn't find it? If the latter, I bet that generated a lot of email. Smile

I sent a group message to say that I would be deleting the group. The messages I received in reply were very supportive and no one showed any surprise. I think the members themselves were ready to move on.

I resolve to bake bread more often. My hubby loves it and I used to do it all the time.

I resolve to keep my desk area tidy.

Alice, if a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what is an empty desk the sign of?

As for resolutions, they are only effective when announced.
The one that I know I can keep is. Not to make any resolutions.

The idea of revolving makes me dizzy and an uprising brings on the vertigo. I guess I will sit and quietly demonstrate. New Years Resolutions 642629

Perhaps I should make a resolution not to spend so much time on this forum. I just noticed that I have passed the 7,000 post mark. On the other hand, this forum has become part of my daily routine.
I get up, wash up, put on the coffee and begin my daily morning stretches. I have my breakfast and then turn on the PC to boot up while I start a fire in the wood stove. While the fire is booting up, I check my emails and then this forum. My start of the day begins with this forum. I think I need help. affraid

Abe what else is there? I start the day every day by first checking to see if I have Gas in the tank then the Oil which is running out then I find the keys put them in the ignition give the day a quick turn over and fire it up.
So far every day has started without fail. Dec 21 was a bit 'iffy' but it started after I kicked it hard. New Years Resolutions 971369

Today is the last day of the year, David. If you didn't do what you planned to do in 2012, you haven't much time left. Better get busy, but first have a Schnapps. Things go better with a bit of fuel. Very Happy

Okay, I am going to read more carefully. I have a bad habit of scanning and don't always look before I leap.

I wanted to train my brain and speed it up so went to lumosity.com. There, Ifixed on their special of only $4.99 per month and totally skipped the once yearly charge of 12 times that.

Needless to say, because I am an accountant I NEVER BALANCE MY CHECKBOOK.

I know what I have in my account.

I knew I had $4.99.

Imagine my shock when I saw that I would pay 12 times that?

I borrowed $20.00 from Dave--so all is well.
