One more proof that the word, "executive" and/or "businessman" does not always indicate the skills to lead - often they indicate skills to hide mistakes, which this gentleman seems to lack.

Different situations require different leaders, and it is an astute board that knows what their situation requires. Often it's just a figurehead with a name associated with previous success.

When executives reach the rarified air they are like gods; even when they leave in disgrace they leave with $billions for comfortable "after lives." They lose their conscience along the way to the top - the power of wealth makes them feel above the laws of common man. Others are so eager to bask in the aura of wealth that they forgive the wealthy for their behaviors, even feeling sorry for them when they fall.
