I first got introduced to this guy when he started appearng on All My Children, which I would sometimes watch because it was part of ABC daytime schedule, which I used to keep going during the day so I would catch shows I liked watching, like The View and General Hospital(Frisco Jones, back in the 80's and 90's helped me develop my Redstone character. I got started on the show because my daughters were fanatics).

When I first caught him on AMC, I was bowled over. He is such a tribute to victims of war and how they can overcome.
I was talking to Daughter Susan & husband Jim not too long ago. Jim sometimes attends meetings of vets who have undergone serious conditions, often including combat injuries. If you've followed my posts re family, you might know that Jim went through a bout of bone cancer a while back, and had a knee replacement, which is why he gets included in this group.
Anyway, I remember talking to them about this veteran/actor and how it didn't take long at all to get beyond his obvious scars to the man behind them.
When I learned he was going to be on DWTS, I tuned in to watch (which I almost never do.)
This is one cool dude. Take a minute to get to know more about him.
