| Back when I was boiling with expectations and visions of my little book available for people who could not see to read, I invested in the audio version of my book, Wooffer.
The reader did a creditable job. I was pleased. It cost me 700 dollars. I made many copies and delivered them to libraries, took them to book signings, sent them free.
I am not sorry even though few people really did get the whole benefit of my effort. I am not a coherent reader. I shake and quake, so i need the reader. it is a definite talent.
I still offer the audio verson on my website. So far, five years later, no one has ordered a single one.
DK Christi has made the whole thing worth while with her nice words about it. My Son in Law loved it, too.
I gave many copies away.
Love,

| Betty,
It may pay off yet. You should write a follow-up to the Wooffer stories. I have given away over 10,000 digital copies of Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine on Amazon. The book is still free on amazon.co.uk and is making a few actual sales on amazon.com. More importantly, it has motivated me to write a sequel and I'm loving it! Dell and Emmelisa Planemaker are about to set off on a brand new adventure and I'm really excited about it! |

| Series seem to be popular in building a following. |

| Dear Shelagh,
I am working on a way to present single stories from
Wooffer. I thought I would begin with a revised Moe story then because it is about Halloween, and in November, when my contract is up with my current publisher, to offer some of those stories free as well. I have been working toward having my gardening chores to be less this winter and hope to write new stories to add to that old mix.
I am happy that you are on a new adventure with Dell and Emmelisa. How fun! You are a force, you know.
My best love to you.
Love,
Betty |
