What is the Worst book you know of?
Don't count mine or any other author here.

I vote for Hitler's book, Mein Kamph, I tried to read it. It was boring.

You know. Alice, reading is such a personal mind connection thing that it would be hard to say a particular book was best or worst except from one's own perspective.

If I were to say the most boring book I ever read was the book of Matthew and all the begotting that went on back then. I imagine it was an historical document that recorded the lineage of Jesus, but for me, it was not entertaining nor could I tell you who begot whom at the end of it.

I imagine all the begot -ers and the one's begotten would disagree.

Love,
Betty

Dear Alice,
I did try. LIke you, it was not my cup of tea. I imagine a hoard of little nazi wannabe's devouring every word back then, and even some demented one's now. Small minds will be led and that relieves them of the task of thinking on their own.

I was too lazy to read it all. I want the Cribb notes. hahah.

Love,
Betty

There are people who write from their heart and speak to your's. Our Ann knows that is true. She and I seem to share a love of two of them.

My family says that I write with heart. I hope that is true.

I often get tears when I read. Not from sadness, but from the pure connection of mind to mind. What a wonder is this thing the word, the key that unlocks a human mind for others to see what is inside.

Love,
Betty

I can't remember the worst book I ever read, because, like both of you, I only got through a few pages. The times that has happened, the books proved very forgettable. I cry reading some books; laugh during others. What's really special are the books where I do both.

Ann,

You are so right. A good book evokes emotion.
Lane could not read a bad book.
He threw them across the room, his dogs retrieved them.
FUNNY!
