I love British comedies. I sometimes wish they weren't so often found on public tv with all those bloody pledge breaks, but I persist and watch them anyway when I get the chance. My Mum is coming to visit for a month, so I imagine they'll be on every night. Keeping up Appearances, Allo Allo, Vicar of Dibley or somewhere like that. I enjoy Canadian comedy too, actually, I suppose I like comedy too. There is an outstanding clip of Robin Williams talking about how the Scots invented golf that is really funny (a little crass since it is Robin, but funny all the same).

The Russell Crowe movie looks great - a bit like a male version of Under the Tuscan Sun. I'll see if I can find it.

To a Manor Born is good too.

I always thought British "humor" sucked for the most part. But I have to admit, this is pretty funny.
