Very nice! Quite a beautiful rose, too. No, I don't have anything flowering at present. My former gardener killed anything that bloomed so I gave up. I have one bush that has purple flowers that change into a profusion of yellow berries and I have one double hybiscus tree that blooms, so I do have a few flowers.

Roses have always been special to me because of the book The Little Prince by Antoine St. Exupery.

Price point: I have a large yard that requires mowing that I cannot do myself. I pay for mowing; keeping the flowers alive was "extra." I quit planting flowers to keep the lawn price point the same. :-(

I had some great pineapples that I watched with great joy as they produced their first evidence of the sweetness to come; and came home to short grass and a tight corner turn that chopped off the budding pineapples. Gave it up.

"...you certainly have a way with streams then..." mentioned the goblin remembering the poster's others works here, continuing "...personally I think that, what with this internet fast becoming the leading means by which people read one another now, actually knowing how to create streams, can be an important plus to ones writing ability, in fact, I learn a lot from being on this forum, the influence is subtle where I don't want to write as others do here, but at the same time I don't anyone can post on a forum for long without noticing "the hows and whys" of other people's posts, so the rose was much appreciated then, it has a painful beauty doesn't it, and I thank you for reminding me here..."
