Bee Keeping Empty
PostSubject: Bee Keeping   Bee Keeping EmptySat Sep 18, 2010 4:27 pm

Does any one keep bees? I am thinking that bee keeping may be my calling. I am alergic to bees, but not afraid most of the time I see one. I know there is protective clothing.

I need bees. I think they are so endangered that I must keep bees.

I may need to go to school.

Love,
Betty

Betty, just remember that you shouldn't worry if people try to tell you you can't. Be like the bumblebee, and just go ahead and do it.

Betty,

I don't thnk you are called to care for bees.

You say you are allergic to them.

Should I become a high wire walker?

I think sometimes that my grandson may be called to care for bees and needs a bee keeping plot of land and that would be where I come in. I have no idea if he even cared a whit for a bee, but I will ask. Someone in my family must have a small gene that resembles me.

Ann, I would raise bumble bees. I do not think any one does. Wouldn't that bee lovely! Me, the first bumble bee farmer in the world.!!!!

Love,
Betty

Bees, hmmmm. They are useful and needed. I tolerate them, but don't think I would want to be a keeper. I've been stung and didn't like it enough to want more.

Dear good heart Alice!

I have decided to not keep bees. I will lure bees to my farm by planting lovely bee loving flowers. It is a better way. They can come and go at their will. Free bees.

Love,
Betty

One more sting and I've had it. I quit carrying a be sting pen; but I should. The allergy is a cumulative one; each sting brings you closer to death. No, I see a bee and make a bee line in the other direction.

I want a butterfly garden. They don't sting.

There is, however, a bee crisis; so I hope someone keeps keeping bees so they don't disappear. They are critical to our ecology. I hear VERY critical.

If my information is correct, bees die once they sting you. Sounds like a good preventive program for humans. You sting someone, you die.
