But there's a lot of cool stuff there. We just got back from 5 days in Orlando. This was the view from our room at the J.W. Marriott.

I haven't been to Annaheim since I was a kid, but I don't see how it could compare to Orlando. We went to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Universal Studios, the latter specifically to see the new Harry Potter exhibits. They were fabulous, down to the $14 Butter Beer, a glorified mug of cream soda. Smile

Mother and I found the cheapest place to eat was in Morocco at Epcot -

Your pictures are grand.

I've never been so hot as July at Disneyland to see my nephew in his wool band uniform from Michigan march through the Magic Kingdom. The heat off the pavement made my legs so hot I had to cool them with aloe vera. Those poor kids.

I heard wearing the neck band coolers helps - a little late, huh. Glad you had a great time in Florida.

It was 98 degrees, and at Harry Potter there were even lines to get in the stores! A fortune for tickets, $15 to park, and lines to buy overpriced goods. What recession?

At the Animal Kingdom, even the bats were hot; they hung in trees fanning themselves.
