| The second volume of Literature & Fiction Interviews can be viewed here:
http://www.slideshare.net/shelaghwatkins/lf-interviews-ii
The first volume contained nineteen author interviews and the second has twenty-five interviews. Forty-four authors interviewed between September 18th, 2009 and April 3rd, 2010 (twenty-four weeks, approximately two interviews/week). |

| Just received this comment (posted on Elynne Chaplik-Aleskow's wall) on facebook: received my copy of 'Literature & Fiction Interviews' by Shelagh Watkins & am THRILLED!!! A unique format by author. Of course I read your interview & then read 'The Needle in the Haystack' which I adore! Will read more interviews & '1st Paragraphs' later! |

| Elynne received this message from a friend, Arlene, who bought one of the books:
I am sooo enjoying Shelagh Watkins book. I usually don't handle the books until you've signed them, but am afraid this one is getting it's 'spine' a lil' bent! I enjoy reading it in spurts. I love the writer's stories but I love reading the actual interview. If their story entices me, I jot it down & look further into the author's works.
The book is now available for free download on Smashwords:

| I received this message on Goodreads: Hi Shelagh,
Thank you for sending Literature and Fiction Interviews Volume II. I have just spent two hours reading it and it was two hours well spent.
I especially enjoyed the interview answers by Daniel Dinges and something Conrad Larson said about his 'Charlene' character.
I definitely will buy a copy of Bearkiller by D.J. Stephens and a copy of Parent Fix for my 'parent bookshelf' in my tutoring business. Maggie Stevens is exactly right and if our whole country were to adopt her suggestions, we would have a much improved country for everyone.
I also enjoyed the interview with A. Colin Wright. He liked something I wrote about a visit to the Isle of Man and I loved his story of the young man looking for love on an island where the inhabitants only looked at him suspiciously.
Thanks for your interviewing work. It helps us readers discover writers we might not otherwise.
Best, Jeanne The book seems to be making an impact! |
