| I think insecurity is at the root of a lot of negativity. We are all insecure about some things; but with a history as an editor and technical writer, I at least came to fiction with some confidence in overall writing ability. Thus, I don't need to raise myself up by attempting to lower someone else.
I have had a lot of suggestions and help in this recent writing journey, and much of it came from the PAMB; this forum continues to provide new information and ideas that challenge. |

| I never put PA down--I didn't get along with the bullies. I like PA--they published my book. |

| Alice, We're all one happy family here and I have no desire to leave this forum. I have learned many good things by being here from people much more experienced than me about life and the world. I respect people like yourself, Carol, Abe, Betty, Lin, Malcolm... and too many other luminaries to name who share your lives here. This is why I like to belong to this forum and be very very happy for it!  |

| "...I join a forum because I always need something to go on..." replied the goblin in all honesty now, continuing "...simply, people's posts engage me, some positively yes, while others negatively perhaps, but both types are fodder to thoughts calling out a response from within me...", so the goblin, in part out of his selfishness, in part out of self-preservation too, was across many forums now, lamenting "...well perhaps to post is to publish after all, but if so, it's like writing on the sand before the tide turns up, but what of it, I was anonymous anyway..."

Still writing. Just finished the manuscript for my fifth novel. About 30,000 word into my sixth novel. And I write articles for a trucker health magazine. Usually one a month. My hubby and I just had our 27th anniversary. The rest of the family is well. Since I finally finished the manuscript decided I could have some fun playing around the forums again.  |
