Alice..

Last July they arranged for two book
signings for me for " Dusty," the first one was at
a local bookstore, when I got there the manager
wasn't there and I had to set it up, they ordered
the books. The 2nd one was at a local pet boutique
they ordered the books. I ordered from Kinko's a
large poster of the book cover, good job, I still have
it. PA asked me for a list of book stores and I sent it
to them, that's how it all started. I got an e mail from
them recently would I like to do another book signing,
I declined , I'm shy around the public....I say go for it
you have a great story to tell..

Wow, that might be a great opportunity if you can get the word out and pack the store.

I got an email this morning from a PA author having difficulty getting books ordered and being in touch with PA. Anyone else having these difficulties?

I am thinking... book is four years old overpriced, maybe I should ask for a price reduction and my buy button returned on Amazon.

I got all the other emails to send my books to everyone for free - but not the book signing one.... :-(

It may be a case of too little too late for many.
The best thing they could do to promote sales would be a reduction in the Retail price. Getting a book signing sounds good. Will the author sell at a discounted price? $27.95 for a paperback in a store having top sellers at half the price, is tough to deal with.
