Hello, Ann, What do you think? I think there are a few disgruntled wannabees out there who have developed some severe cases of DID. Why don't we just let them play with themselves. Ann |

| My husband just invested in a car for our high-schooler today. Now I don't have to drive her everywhere anymore. W00t! I invested in a new computer, one with a 25" landscape monitor. It's shiney. I need to invest in someone to fix all the wood rot on the house now. |

| You could talk about it on the Homes and Gardens Board. I have some good before and after photos (we lived in a Victorian property). |

| Please do, LC. You could teach us about things like the quilts and furniture pieces you've posted here.

| Talk about wood rot, quilts and furniture on the H/G board? The wood rot I just want fixed, and the quilts and furniture I just bought. My house is, what is called in these parts, a "McMansion." Big, made with the cheapest, builder-grade parts. We've spent a fortune replacing wood rot already. It just rots in another place. |

| Unfortunately with wood rot, you just have to keep replacing it. I feel your pain. |

| Mine? About 15 years old, but we have been making extensive wood rot repairs since it was 5 years old, due to lack of caulking by the original builder and no primer paint. Among other ommissions. Patch, patch, patch. Sad. |

| Can you collect on your insurance? It sounds like a lemon of a house? Where is the builder? |

| Insurance doesn't cover wear and tear, which is what this is considered. The house was a resale, and all the houses around here are built like this, anyhow.
What can ya do.
ETA -I just took a flyer off my door from a guy advertising -wood rot and painting services! Maybe he's the man I'm looking for? |
