| 1/29/2010 Hi.. Your thoughts on Toyota ? I've read that they tried to grow too fast too soon. Mass production in order to make profits and become # 1 . I have a friend who's husband works for Toyota as a salesman, I think he may be out of a job soon. I read Toyota fired or forced the last CEO to resign and the grandson of the founder took over as CEO..... Cheers..Joe.. |

Alice..
They should be more careful in their production.. Last August a couple and their two children were killed in a collision because the gas peddle got jammed , I call this a very bad incident...They have on record 2,000 incidents , 6 killed...
Cheers..Joe |

Alice..
Read an interesting article the other day, it seems, Toyota' Sony, Honda and a few others all they thought about was becoming #1 and making products faster, now I'm thinking twice about buying a Sony TV. It seems these companies didn't focus on their products and were willing to risk the wrath of the public...I think it was on BBC , I have to look for it..
Cheers..Joe |

| Making a mistake is horrible, but making a mistake and brushing it under the carpet is even worse. l They compare this to the Tylenol scare when some Tylenol bottles were laced with cyanide and people who took them died. All Tylenol was taken off the market and the problem was made public. Those who have died cannot be brought back but others can be saved.
Oh, if only the Catholic Church had come out in the open with those who were committing crimes against young boys. Perhaps lives were not lost, but ignorant people ruined the quality of life for many young men.

| Alice,
Me too. I don't know exactly what happened. Either the chemo started working, or they found the right combination of meds, or we have adapted to circumstances as they are, or God and His angels decided it wasn't time for me to leave, or all of the above, or other things I don't even know.
Maybe it is sleeping all night, not being in pain. I just had a long talk with my doctor son-in-law and he was very upbeat about what and how I was doing. I think I am also feeling I have some control which makes a big difference.
I will be putting up a blog.
