| Dear Betty,
What a shame to lose the crops! Your mother . . . not so much. I hope you and your sister enjoy Disney World like little kids do.
Love, Helen |

| Betty, we have been motoring just ahead of alll the nasty weather, but I have been thinking of you and your crops. Don't be out there trying to save too many things, or you might wind up ill, and that would be a true shame.
We are in Arizona now, and enjoying fresh oranges and whatever other fruits one might want. I will eat one in your honor! When you go to Disney World, let the little girls out to play. It is never too late to enjoy! |

| Dear Joe, My myers lemon and the key lime are a little frosted, but the blankets and the lights and the other coverings have save them. The oranges and the tangelo's, the navels are all a little frosted, too. I think they are ok. Today, it was 80 here. The thing about Florida is that it is Florida. No frozen toads that I saw, but I have not seen a lizard or a snake or turtle. My dogs were out looking into the gopher turtles house, but he did not come out. He was a sleep. Old Agnes saw no reason to come out either. Love, Betty |
