Why do Muslims move to the West, and then try to make it the same shithole they came from?

The same as any other race of people; it's what they know and what they are most comfortable with.

We built an Empire (now the Commonwealth) by taking over countries all over the world and introducing them to the British way of life. We were very good at it.

We have friends in Australia; they live in "Little Lancashire".

No. Most of the British Colonies threw us out eventually ... there must be a lesson there.

PostSubject: Re: Question of the Day   Question of the Day EmptyTue Nov 17, 2009 7:32 am

In a free country we must allow all voices to be heard. If we silence one, then we are no better than those we wish to win over. Dictartors' are strongest when they stop freedom of expression and only let the masses hear what the party wants heard. We also must remember where we all came from...
...Africa.
Being a kelt and coming from Scotland I could say the Saxons or the Normans are newcomers to these shores but in reality that would be childish. We are all one people regardless of where in the world we come from or the faith we follow. And in God's eye we have all got a long way to go before we reach perfection. I know i have. Hairymob...

I agree with you...I think we can never
change the world , it's up to each individual human being to
try to understand that , I believe religion is a powerful tool
used by many different groups for hate. When I was writing
my book " Visions Of Freedom," on what it's like to live in
Cuba under Castro and his tyranny, I question God why he
would allow Dictators to be born and do horrors against other
human beings, just like Hitler, Stalin, North Korea, etc. Is it to
teach humans a lesson ? I really don't know the answer ?

Cheers..Joe

I have been hiding behind a tree for awhile
now I come forth and want salute everybody special the hairymob of his courage
to speak as he spoke and it was well said.

I quote the Russian General ‘Lebed who said; A wise man not start the war in winter, And
real wise man not start war at all.
because the war is easy to stat but hart to finish.

I must say, for example I am so stupid and still
unaware
of the real reason and destination of the war which is running in
Afghanistan. I just know the people living in that poor country have
been a
target for decades for the aliens invaders.

If your point is that we're on a jihad against Afghanistan, it could seem that way. Guess it ramped up when the chaos that characterizes most of the Middle East was deliberately, intentionally brought here with 9/11.

Harry,
you're not stupid. There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is simply not knowing. Learning can erase ignorance.
Stupidity could be characterized as ignoring facts and making uninformed statements or simply being unintelligent.

You may find, "Three Cups of Tea" an interesting read. It was written by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin and is about Afghanistan.

When some ones were blowing up the blocks
in Moscow, the revenge mission was sent to Schetsenien to be find the guilty,
found them,? there was not telling, just I know lot of innocents like children
and women were killed by the brute machine of the war.

PostSubject: Re: Question of the Day   Question of the Day EmptyTue Nov 17, 2009 10:47 am

That is the thing about revenge, it often affects the innocent as much as the guilty. At the same time though the argument could be made that we cannot just sit back and let the bully beat the crap out of us. It is trying to find the right path that makes the job of leading a nation a hard job. We on the ground floor must pray that they do a good job and if they fail to do so elect a new leader, at least in the democratic world.

Sorry but

I remain still ignorant, for, I cannot understand
how these simple minded mountaineers, living there like yesterday’s people can be guilty to
the war.

Yes, your posts are always good.

It's good to see you here. We have been struggling here since Dick died last week. It was sad for all of us.

Glad to see you here.

Harry,

Check out:

http://www.publishedauthors.org/information-f21/dick-stodghill-has-passed-away-t3556.htm

There are various other threads about Dick under chatter box and information. He had been ill and had come and told us he wasn't doing well.

We are all still grieving. He was a great person.

Shithole?
You seem to have no respect for people. Perhaps it's because you are above others. Your mama should wash your mouth out with soap.

My question is what's better to work abroad for large sum of money or to stay in native country to work for practically nothing?
