In Honor of Dick

I got the news of Dick's passing late and it hit me hard. I first encountered Dick on the PA board, then the Author's Society. I disconnected for a while and Dick gave me the hint about the Published Authors board. The one constant was the respect that everyone had for Dick at each electronic watering hole.

I just ordered Dick's book from B&N.

Dick did me the high honor of writing a blog on my latest book and it was among his last dozen. I will print that blog and frame it. I will also make my biggest push ever to make the book that was the subject of that blog a success.

Dick was a soldier and his last blog was the same day as the shooting at Fort Hood in Texas. Dick went out with a group of other soldiers who were either coming back or going to a battle zone.

Dick Stodghill will be missed.
