| The doctor I described above is the meanest man I ever met.
He never showed empathy to anyone, ever. A mutual friend got cancer.
"Why is he freaking out? " he asked.
He and Dick's preacher should team up.
They could do dark comedy. |

| Alice,
You didn't ruin the thread. This was a good thread about some of the nastier realities of life.
No problem. We can all handle it.
Love ya, Carol |

| The nurse greets me, computer in hand, smiles a little and asks questions as she plugs them into the machine. The doctor comes in with his computer in hand, smiles a little and asks questions as he plugs them into the machine. The printer spits out some prescriptions. The machine at the last counter spits out the bill. Maybe I could just plug in my questions, get my answers, print my prescriptions, skip the bill, and have a machine doctor. |

| DK,
You would be much better served than with a doctor who does not listen to you.
Some of the doctors probably plug whatever complaints they like into the computer anyway. |
