Although the deal is temporary it was necessary. To default would have been catastrophic. The fight has just begun for a long-term solution.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a non-political group that could sit down and draw up a plan?

As it stands now, the fight is political. I don't think that doing the right thing is even a consideration.

From what I've read so far, the fight will start all
over again in December ! Yes we needed to get this done
I think the politicians are playing the American public as
fools and they think we don't get it ! Their toying with us
and their going to do what they want to do until 2012 !
