Submittions Open for Earth Day Anthology

Vanilla Heart Publishing has opened submissions for poetry and prose (fiction and non-fiction) with a nature and nature's gifts theme. The deadline is December 31st. Half of the proceeds from the anthology will be donated to The Nature conservancy.

I celebrate Earth Day each year by putting the first app of Diazinon on my garden. I guess that's not the kind of prose they're looking for, though?

Could you repeat that in English, LC?
I can't seem to come up with an idea of nature reaping a benefit from murder unless it's the killing of a bigtime polluter. Doubt if that's what they have in mind.

Probably not, Dick. Just write about a killer or a PI being kind to his fine feathered friends because they might be somebody's mother.
