Hi Everyone...

On July 24th, 2009 my sister passed away in her
sleep at the age of 59, she had valve replacement surgery in
December, 2008 . She also had high blood pressure and severe
Diabetes. I ask all my author friends here to please have your
self checked at least once a year, I did and found out I too have
Diabetes but not severe, only the pill type. I Thank you, you would
be doing yourself a favor and your loved ones.

My condolences to you and to your family, Joe. It's sad to lose a loved one so young. It is good advice that you have passed on, and I hope all will take heed.

Dear Joe,
I do not understand death. I do not think any of us living do. It always seems to be something so far off, nothing really to do with us and even when someone we love passes, it is still not something we consider as our own fate any time soon. What power a single alive thing has while it lives. It does not matter what form the life, survival is the name of the game. A small seed can split a rock looking for the sun.

I am sorry for your sadness, Joe, and your sister's passing.

You have a lot of living to do. She would tell you so.

Joe, it is sad you have lost your sister, but it is good of you to think of passing the warning on. Yes, a complete yearly checkup is worthwhile, and I am sure your sister is smiling at you for your thoughtfulness in reminding others.
