You can see what looks like the edge of a "t" to the left of the word "cross." |

| That reminds me of the time my mother and I moved from Louisiana to So California when I was seventeen. We kept seeing, 'Ped Xing' written on streets and had no clue. When a neighbor finally explained, we were so embarrassed by our ignorance we wanted to slink out of town. |

| Even I get confused sometimes. It last happened 39 years ago in Anderson, Indiana when at intersections I saw signs saying "Scramble on red." |
