| There are just too many happy thoughts. But here's one at the top: My Dad has had two heart surgeries (among other things) and is the first male in his family to live past age 64. I was thrilled he was around to meet his great-grandson! |

| You all have such beautiful thoughts. I would like for all of your happy thoughts to be reality. Selfish as I am, though, I would love to be able to just jump up and fly around this earth like Superman. I do not need the super strength, just the ability to fly. Love, Betty |

| Don,, I wish`your wife could walk too--what an unfortunate situation. I am sorry. I know that fixes nothing. |

| My happiest moment was just over 16 years ago when the delivery doctor placed my newborn daughter on my shoulder. I had heard about "bonding" before, but until that moment I had no idea what it meant.
We had gone through all the Lamaze (sp?) classes for weeks. My wife was in labor for two full days and they finally had to do a C section. I held her before my wife did. I gave her her first bath at the consternation of the nurses.
"That's our job. What'll we do?"
I handed one of them the video camera and said, "You can record this for my wife." |
