The PAMB post I took most pride in was a response to Rudy concerning James' and Pier's rude reaction to a post of Carol's when she politely asked them to "cease and desist." They didn't. Rudy claimed they had done nothing wrong. I did a search and gathered their improper responses to Carol's well-deserved request. I was never forgiven for it.

I still do not understand why I was never banned.

Girls, girls, girls...Why do you keep going in there with those three? I had my fill of them when I got banned. How can you stand it?

I always thought it was very bad form for PA to allow them to run roughshod over every author there. I tried every way I knew to make them stop bullying others, but they won that war. And PA let them do it.

I think someone needs to take Rudy out back and give him a good a** whoopin'.

One of the reasons I wanted access to AW was to point out the frequency of quotes from the PAMB private boards, and then I went and did it myself.

I thought I remembered Shelagh stating in the locked Absolute Write thread that she would never allow the posting of threads from another website to be copied and pasted on these forums. Further, these were on the private message board where the "Bad Hair Day" thread is located and not available to the public to view.

I have read many posts about moving forward and not living in the past, yet the same topics and issues seem to keep arising.

I wonder why that is?

I was serious when I started that thread about a serious subject.

We go off on tangents here sometimes, but I have never felt insulted or minimalized (?) by anyone here as I was there by those two.

I think I am near Georgia exit 7 off I-95, but don't intend to stop, and my name is not Joyce. Joyce is a good person, and we had some great conversations about spirituality.

Alice asked where I asked them to cease and desist. Ann replied and gave actual examples.

There were some good author friends on the PAMB, many who are here.

I do not put the PAMB in the same category as AW. They are quite different. However, as has been stated, there are people on both that tie me into knots.

My friends mean a lot to me. I write better than I speak, and love having writing friends. It is something I could only have imagined possible.

Ann's example is probably a good one of a not so good hijacked thread, which happened often over there.

It amazes me that with all the many posts on messageboards there are so many remembered. Words spoken are dust in the wind, but words on paper or computers are there forever it seems.

I give permission for my post to be posted.

Shelagh is probably sleeping or busy with something. We just get out of hand here sometimes. She might delete that post, but now Alice has her answer, and we've vented a bit about people who were not always so nice, and maybe the words should be dust in wind.

Merri, you are quite right. I do not approve of copying and pasting from one forum to another, especially from a private board. Can we leave off talking about PA members who are not members of this board?
