Beautiful People

I will start this thread by saying that Carol Troestler is a beautiful person.
She is a giver. She is a kindness of heart. A listener. Her spirit flows.
She is aware of other people.

I have known people who never look past their own face, never see anyone else, do not ever consider anyone else has a life if their existing does not benefit them in a significant way.

The world is a bunch of blurry faces.
Can you focus on one and tell about that person?
Good or bad.

You have started a wonderful thread.
There are so many beautiful people in this forum it was hard to choose just one. I could name Zada, Madhatter, You, and so many others.

But for the purpose of this thread I choose Abe.
He is a true gentleman.
He is intelligent, kind, and generous.

What impresses me about him is his ability to see beyond his own point of view of a manner and be able to see another person's point of view and validate it.
This is not something all people can do.

Like Joelle, I think there are many here who would qualify as beautiful people. As you mention, Carol's quiet spirit is truly beautiful. But I think I would have to say that I think your spirit shines brightly and beautifully. The way you give voice to little creatures and focus on their problems and solutions is remarkable to me. And the many kindnesses you pass on in the form of words and encouragement here and other places I have been with you, is definitely inspirational.

You, Betty, are beautiful inside and out. Your wonderful avatar gives me a warm heart, and I thank you, gentle lady.

Laugh a minute is ol' stodgy. Jackie gets my vote for putting up with him. That and the fact that she is beautiful. I think Dick must have hidden her glasses when he proposed.

The truth is, if you look toward Ohio in the middle of the day, you will see a glow coming from his neighborhood that will spread all the way to Alaska, through Canada, down the Eastern seaboard, and end up in my back yard right around the Old Oak Tree. He is that beautiful and his light shines that brightly.

You are a beauty, Mr. Stodghill. You cannot deny it.

Ah that's what it is -- here I thought it was the city lights caught up in the fog, and it was really Dick. Guffaw !!

So! That explains the glitch in the light relay. Dick's light flies up through Alaska, goes up through Canada, bounces off your beautiful light up there in Nova Scotia, relays back down through Ohio, glances off Sophie's smile, flys past Carol's wood in Wisconsin, picking up her beautiful vibes, takes a sharp southern turn toward Rhett in Florida, picks up her Southern charm, flies off to England and runs smack dab into the beauty of Shelagh, hits a bounce off the Tower of London, regroups in Germany at Abe's place, takes off and encompasses, A Ahad somewhere in the Milky Way and goes off to Scotland then Mexico...

In the end, however, the Old Oak Tree in Duette is afire with his beauty. Dick has landed.
