David Morgan was in for a shock when he actually woke up dead one morning and found out it was the first time he was truly alive. I just looked at your Amazon page. You have 42 published works. Whew! Are you earning a rational income from just writing? Of course, "rational" is a matter of perspective. Few writers manage to make all their earnings from their published works; most have a patron or wife or side income even it's from speaking or other related journalism.

I'm just curious if publishing so many books increases the income substantially. I know E. Don also has quite a list of publications.

There may be others. Al has his book covers in his signature, and I think there are quite a few also.

I haven't compared length of works. This is just my own little "poll." :-)

That is the earth taken from Apollo 17, "The Big Blue Marble." As far as a rational income, that debatable because I making more monthly than I ever have from my books, but it's not a living income. It seems that unless you are a known author or in a specialty niche, books have become like TV shows. Readers are always looking for the next new show and book surfing, just like they channel surf. I have noticed that I have made some progress selling higher priced books now that readers have become hooked on the works that were $.99. Tying the books together in a series has also served to draw readers to the entire series instead of just reading one book and moving on.
