CHARLIE RANGEL BRING BACK THE DRAFT BEFORE SYRIA VOTE !!

                        Now I know Charlie Rangel ( Age 84) is one Congressman who
                        belongs in the nut house, he has drafted a bill to bring before
                        Congress before they vote on Syria to bring back the draft ages
                        18-46 Men and Women...I don't know of any Americans who would
                        agree with this, we're tired of wars ! Syria isn't our business, if this
                        happens and we attack Syria Iran will get in on it....

I seriously doubt it would come to pass. Rangel is just grandstanding.

Besides, his argument is all wet.  He is saying that the draft would equalize the economic background of young soldiers, since most of the volunteers are from lower-income families.

He needs to look at the statistics from Vietnam.  Young men who could afford to avoid the draft generally managed to, either by staying in college, or "buying" openings in the National Guard.

But it isn't going to happen, so I wouldn't worry about it.

                    I don't have to worry about it , I'm a senior..I worry that young people
                   will be sucked into this stupidity ! Charlie Rangel belongs in the old folks
                   home where all people would be safe from his idiotic ideas...

                        Just saw a poll more than 60% of Americans against strike
                        on Syria, this will open a pandora's box that will be a horror,
                        as I've said before let the Syrian people deal with it, not us..
